I am the Gardeniser for the Community Plot at Whetstone Stray Allotments in Barnet. This is a large allotment plot with features including a poly tunnel, pond, fruit trees, wildflowers and slow worm habitat. It is located alongside the Dollis Valley green walk, and is a wonderful place for nature connection, as well as food growing. New volunteers are welcome to visit on Tuesdays. I am also involved with community gardens local to where I live (the Growing Kitchen and Wenlock Barn Orchard in Hackney), and a new raised bed vegetable growing project on the Council Estate where I live.
