Hi, I'm Ruby. I volunteer for a community garden in Brighton as well as work for a charity as a Food Security Development Worker. I'm interested in urban gardening and specifically vertical farming, aquaponics, and hydroponics (I completed a build and design course in Aquaponics in 2019).
I'm passionate about incorporating new and inventive ways to encourage everyone to grow their own even if they only have a small space.
I have a City & Guilds Level 1 in Well-being through Horticulture as well as studying principles of horticulture at Plumpton Horticulture College.
My hope is to work on projects that promote the positive physical and mental benefits of community gardening and that reconnect people with nature.
