Richard is a long-time plantsperson who entered the horticulture profession in 2013 with the intention of helping to create positive social change. He has trained with the RHS, Cambridge Botanic Garden and Kew Gardens. In recent years he has been delivering community food growing and nature engagement projects across London. He also facilitates peer-to-peer networking and skills sharing in his role as London Development Officer with Social Farms & Gardens. Richard has an MA in Global History from Birkbeck, with a focus on environmental history.
