An emigrant from Ireland, I left my home for six months in 1993 and I never looked back. I developed a career in social housing working with vulnerable people to seek positive living experiences. My last role was made redundant in 2015 and I returned to Coventry University to complete a Professional Diploma in Social Therapeutic Horticulture. Today, I work at Sufra NW London; a food bank offering training, education and community gardening to people managing multiple and complex needs. I enjoy meeting people, showing off our community growing space, St Raphael's Edible Garden and inspiring people to find new exciting ways to enjoy life outdoors.
